Autumn Swap

Cheryll from Gone Stitching hosts a Once a Season Swap..... it is a secret right until your parcel arrives...

I sent my secret parcel off to Vanessa from The Clip Cafe.... I forgot photo's so Vanessa sent me some.... I made a tea towel and two pot holders from vintage waffle cloth and trimmed with autumny binding and applique..... they were fun to make and hopefully will find some use in Vanessa's kitchen..

My secret parcel arrived yesterday and it was from Maria from Life on the Block - we have known each other bloggily for a while now and worked on some goat stitching together.  It was lovely to get a home made gift from her.... just look at this lovely autumn coloured tote bag...

... and it had lots and lots of lovely treasures inside ...

The $50 dollars is a note book.... every bag needs some money!
matching tissue holder, ric-rac, buttons, coffee and ready made blocks

I have moved my purse, and all those little thingies from the old hippie handbag to this lovely new one.... just in time for Autumn Down-Under

Thanks so much Marie

Nice new bag! I'm hoping you'll post a photo of Laura's goats when you have them done. She doesn't seem to have a blog or to post on the Flickr group. I really want to see how they ended up :)
