I am doing a bit of a catch up post here.....
Susan and I are sewing Be My Neighbour together this year..... - here are Aprils blocks (Susan's blocks are HERE)
I am using 1930's style fabrics for mine.... (not sure I like the multicoloured one above)
I am sewing Floral Fun with the Brisbane Sunday Stitchers.... these are my 2 blocks for April
I had these squares all cut out from fat quarters gathered in the clubs Community Quilters stash.... this week I had a couple of quiet days at home so I sewed them all together....
In between the blocks I have been trying to keep up with my scrap project using it for Leaders and Enders....
I had cut up a heap of scraps last year to tidy up....
These scrappy stars are beginning to take shape.... I have to admit I am a bit in love with them....
Over the last few months I have had these little stitcheries as a 'pick up and go' when I haven't got anything sorted for a sewing day....
I finished these 6 and I will make them up into little needlecases for our sales table at Embroidery Guild later this year...
My pink crochet blanket is finished... this is 1 x 1.2 metres - KOGO have requested cot blankets so this will go to them....
It's a soft chenille type feel and I just did treble bunches in lines
On a trip to UK a few years ago I took grandy-girls some preprinted Mandalas and thread to try embroidery together...
Chloe finished hers and sent it as a gift to me in a frame...... I Love it .... the picture is a bit blurry but the colours are nice and bold...

I like your scrappy stars too. Well done to Chloe!
You've had a busy time of it. Those stars are very bright, they will make a happy and colourful quilt top.
A very special gift from Chloe. You always have a lovely lot of projects to share with us.
I've just rediscovered a scrappy stars quillt I did over five years ago, finally started on the quillting this week. Enjoy your dress making
Wow! So many beautiful things. Love your framed gift.
You kept yourself out of trouble and busy I can tell. Lol. Love your projects. The embroidery look so small. How big are those squares? The pink blanket is so nice. But the show stopper is Chloe's stitches. Her stitches are so even and nice. She takes after Grandma doesn't she? Bravo, Chloe. ;^)
Yes the first house is very busy?
You’re working on a few good projects with scraps .
A pretty crochet blanket for a baby.
Good idea making needle cases with the little stitcheries.
Lots of nice work in progress - the stars are fun and those embroideries will make lovely needlecases. Well done Chloe! xx
Congratulations on the pink crochet blanket; it's always wonderful when a project is finished. Awesome.
I also particularly like your little embroideries for the needle cases. But I'm absolutely in love with the beautiful, colorful stars.
Chloe's embroidered mandala is absolutely adorable.
Best wishes to you, Fiona.

You always work on such a wonderful variety of projects Fiona - they are always fascinating. I have that same stitchery panel - I must pull mine out & do some work on it. xx
It's nice to see what you are up to Fiona - busy as always :-) I made Be My Neighbour a few years ago and absolutely love it - even the odd block where I wasn't sure about the fabric choice! How special that your grand-daughter gifted her stitchery to you ♥
You really do have a lot on the go. Such a variety means you never get bored!
What a nice collection of lovelies. I can see why you are in love with the leader and ender stars. How nice that Chloe not only stitched the mandala, but gifted it to you.
Your little stitcheries will make adorable needlecases. Way to keep up with your BOMs! I always have good intentions but seem unable to keep up. Have a great May!
They will be very pretty needle cases...lovely mandala work...what a treasure.
Our houses are going OK...good to have the deadlines isn't it?
I love those soft florals in your Be My Neighbour project and your scrappy stars also caught my eye. All your stitching is lovely, Fiona and what a nice variety too.
