SAL pincushion........s

This months SAL project is a pincushion 
(from Red Home by Natalie Bird)

I wasn't too sure how I would go with the mini hexagons and mini needleturn so I did a practice one 


... and then another for a birthday gift


... the same but different....


..... almost twins.....


 ... but not quite....


I was given some swatches of lovely printed linen so these were used for the birthday gift.....


... and I had needlecases in my Birthday stash so had to add one of those ....

Righto, Gotto Go..... I need to recover from those mini hexagons......

Oh, Fiona, you really raise the bar!! How perfectly delightful. All that work! WOW! Not quite sure I would attempt such a project. How mini are those mini hexagons?
