Playdate......

I was so lucky enough to be part of the Stitchers Dream Day Out hosted by the Quilters Angel....... it is my main special sewing time of the year and such fun.....

Here is what the room was like.....

.... you have to take note of the tied sashes... since I tied them......

... and our beautiful tables with gift bags and projects.....

.... and this is the projects that were shared for the two days....

... we each got a project to do.....

.... and I caught up with bloggy friends Cheryl and Lynda.....

to chat about our projects and learn new tricks with thread....

... my project is one by Rosalie Quinlan....

... and I saw and touched the original "Patchwork Village"

... and showed mine at Show and Tell... and Rosalie said nice things about it.....

... and I went back to the craft space and played with glue.....

... and made a new discovery.....

.... and had such fun with the other ladies at our table....
... there are other bloggers there... Toni and Kris  - you can see we were very serious with getting on with our work

... but of course ...

... who plays up for the pictures!!!! .... (sometimes more than one)

.... by the end of the day I had this to show.....

.... not bad for a whole days work..... is it????? .....

Righto, Gotto Go...... back to real life... and laundry.... and cooking..... and vacuuming.....

... actually I think I will just start with giving my sewing machine some oil and take it from there.....

... I do hope your weekend was fun too ....

Looks like a wonderful week end was had by all. We need these week ends from time to time to recharge our batteries. Unfortunately they go too quickly.
A great opportunity to show your lovely quilt and very nice choice of project.
