The cake..... and a little purse....

Hubz got his fathers day cake...

I had trouble with the chocolate drip - the melts just started to glug and it was more like plaster than drip ... still learning.....

Oh well.. tastes good and Hubz was happy....

I made this little purse for Shez's birthday....

It's a nice hand size ....

Tilda, hexagons, linen and pearly bling...

I made it using a pattern from The Quilters Angel... one day I might try out the mini clamshells!

I love these little kiss closure's you can get for purses nowadays... all sorts of colours...

Happy Birthday dear sweet Shez.... enjoy

I have made a start on this month's block for the Holly Cottage Stitch-A-Long..

There is still a bigger block to applique and do some stitchery

Righto, Gotto Go.... I'm quilting orange peels today....

I hope you have a lovely day

Better a bit of glug on the cake that tastes good, and have the purse turn out gorgeous, than vice versa! Lucky Dave and lucky Shez :)
