A Year around the Sun .....

My brother acknowledged a first birthday as completing a first trip around the sun..... what a lovely thought..

Our darling little grand daughter Matilda completed her first journey round the sun this week.... she is so cute and it makes me cry that I haven't even had a cuddle with her .....

This is a lovely picture of her enjoying spring in England....

Happy Birthday sweetheart.....

Oh, I am sure it is so hard to watch her grow up from afar. Stephen's grandmother hasn't seen him in a year and I think it will be at least another 6 months. I feel sorry for her too. You need a {{HUG}} today.

She looks like a gorgeous little darling!! It's a beautiful photo, too.
Sounds like you need a plane ticket!

What a doll! And that is a very poetic way to describe the first year. :o) A lovely thought, indeed. Hope you get to see her soon for a cuddle. Have a great weekend!

Jimmy Buffet had a song about that, a year being a trip around the sun, wish I could remember the name of it!

that year has flown. She is adorable. It would be hard to be so far away. I hope you get to give her a hug soon.

Oh my friend I am sending you big hugs today. I moan about not seeing my family but it's harder for you. It's been two years since we saw our families and I really hope we get to see them this year. Hugs xxxx

Awwwwwwww what an adorable moppet - I'm going to second the suggestion about Skype! My friend's cousin lives far away from her family - her 18 month old son can press one button on the computer and Skype with his grandma - it's a wonderful way to keep in touch! (The great grandma broke down in tears the first time she did it, awwwwwwwwwww!)

I empathize with you about having a cuddle with grandchildren. Skype is great but a real cuddle is so much better. We will be in australia this Sept/Oct to enjoy some cuddles with ours.

Matilda is a doll, I know what its like to have grandies far away, although Townsville to Adelaide was not anywhere near as far as England.
