Tuesday Treasure

I got a few new treasures at the end of last year

Tonya from Hillbilly Handiworks hosted an Ornament Exchange.....

These are the ornaments I received.....

from Laura

from Heather
from Sherry
From Tonya
It is just lovely to have home made ornaments hanging on my branch

I sent each of my swappies one of these Santa's.....

Thanks Tonya for a fun exchange.... a lovely way to build up my collection of hand made ornaments... and thank you ladies for your lovely ornaments.... they are amongst my treasures...

I'm off to Melody for hosting Tuesday Treasures - her BOM started yesterday... did you see it? ... I was so excited I went hunting for bits and made a start...

I am  going to be using preloved fabric as much as possible.... this is a piece of lovely cotton linen (ex tablecloth) and felted wool for the embellishing
lots of different textures

I've even got a stock of 'preloved' thread that I can use!

  13. Wonderful ornaments... sorry that I missed that swap.... I like your idea for Melody's quilt along. I would like to do it as well, but I'm not sure where I will fit it in... You find the funniest cartoons! I hope you keep em coming.

  17. Don't you just love all the ornaments you've been given when its time to decorate the tree. I try to tag all of mine so I'll remember next year who and where they came from.
I like the little house block and the thought of recycling notions.
