You're famous. How exciting. Your post over on Stash Manicure is terrific. I have this big pile of black and white fabrics to make Mick a quilt. He doesn't know about them. I might have to follow your tutorial when I finally get around to using them.

How exciting! I love that quilt! I've never done a QAYG, I've wanted to but none of the directions make sense to me - I'm such a visual learner I need someone to show me how. I'll go check out your post!

Fiona, that was a terrific tute on Stash Manicure! You made it seem almost painless. I like the idea of not having to struggle with a whole quilt to get it quilted. Thanks!

What a great tutorial. I will use some of your ideas since my quilt has wide sashing but just as well cause if I follow your tutorial exactly I will put on 5 kilo.

I have a QAYG quilt planned so thank you so much for your informative instructions which included refreshments, I suppose we should have baking done the day before so we can get right into sewing our stash quilts. Thanks for the lift of the day

You made me laugh and laugh! If I ate at every step of the way going through my STASH I would be in big trouble! Tempting, though, those goodies you posted! And THANKS so much for that tutorial! I'm going to star it on my google reader so some day, hopefully soon, I can make one like that - yours is beautiful!

Your tutorial on Stash Manicure was one of the best QAYG tutes I've seen. . you're adorable!
I've given up trying to do QAYG without labeling/numbering the pieces. I get confused every time. And even if all the blocks are haphazard, you STILL want them to be the way you want them. . ya know? So again, beautiful tute, very funny, I'm definitely the scratched out words (wine.) lol

Great post at Stash Manicure. Your directions were easy to follow. Makes me want to try it. Those cakes look scrumptious too! Everyone needs cake when they quilt!

I am LOVING your Quilt. Have been wanting to do a similr QAYG quilt for some time to use up scraps from my stash. This is a PERFECT tutorial explaining how to join the blocks. Hint with spray basting and then smoothing with a ruler is new to me as well.
I'll certainly be back!!
Thanks again for this blog and to Mme. Samm

Thank you so much for your QAYG tutorial on stash manicure today. I was totally doing the binding wrong on the quilt I was doing for my hubby. This is way easier!!!

I was looking all over the place for "comment" - you got me there! Anyway, this is a beautiful quilt and I know someone who wants to make a black and white quilt with a splash of red - this would be perfect for a new quilter!! Thanks for sharing. Love this quilt!!

Congratulations on being a guest instructor. I love the way your QAYG quilt turned out. I love black and whites, I have been collecting them for some time now. I think I have enough for a quilt top. I am going over to the link to see how this quilt is constructed.

I just read the tutorial and I think I'd like to try it sometime. I like the one you made that's reversible. You did a great job explaining how to do it. Cute pot holder.
Oh, and I would have gained 5 pounds if I ate every time you said to.
I didn't know it was your Birthday..Happy Birthday...late.

I love your post over on Stash Manicure! I did something similar a few years ago, but your sashing idea is so much easier than what I did. Thanks for the great tutorial! I'd love to win the potholder! Thanks for the chance.
