My final Flowerville block is complete now....
Here are all the blocks together... they do need to be trimmed down before adding the sashing...
I did finish this quilt last month but wanted to give it's to the new owners grandma first...
The whole quilt is a panel which I quilted around the shapes....
This is a nice way of learning free motion quilting if you wanted to give it a try..... follow the lines and in big spaces do something to fill a bit (like the elephant tummy)
It's quite fun from the back and the little man can learn the animal shapes when he is a bit older...
Nana Jenny is very happy and will be sending the quilt off to S Australia...
I continue with my crochet blanket.... its a good lap size now so it keeps my legs warm whilst I work on it.... still to do about 12 more colour rows then loop away all those join bits before doing a border
I have been wanting some seating for our fernery.... local DD organised with my other children to get us this set for our anniversary.....
as you can see it is just perfect... good and solid and looks like patchwork!
I'm looking forward to days when I can sit and have a cuppa out there....
Righto, Gotto Go... time for sleeping.....

well done on your flowerville, a great achievement with all that stitching!
lovely baby quilt and love your new table and chairs. Very patchworky.
I like to sew in my crochet threads every colour set otherwise it's so daunting at the end!
Flowerville is getting close to being a flimsy! I love the multi colored thread/floss you used on that one. And the table and chairs are a winner! Perfect for a quilter :)
The Flowerville blocks look great as does the panel quilt. Lovely gift - roll on summer! xx
I love your Flowerville quilt. It is so serene. Can't wait to see it all quilted. I know you will have fun with that one. Love chairs and table set. It is gorgeous! Perfect for a quilt. I bet they did it on purpose, lol. But aren't you in Wintertime right now? I guess you get no snow where you are. Love your little flowery nook. enjoy! ;^)
The Flowerville block is just gorgeous! Great idea to use panels for free motion practice, it does help to have some guidance. Love your new little sitting area! I’m sure you will be spending lots of time having cuppas out there! xx
Great garden setting for your anniversary, having a cuppa out there sounds wonderful. Well done on finishing the flowerville blocks. Great baby quilt, always good to use a panel. Crochet blanket is looking great.

Gorgeous fernery set - well done to local DD for organising it - it seems that it was the perfect gift :-) Flowerville is looking beautiful - well done on getting to this stage. I love the panel quilt - one little guy is going to enjoy it a lot - and be nice and snuggly too!
You must be so pleased with how your Flowerville blocks look together. I'm looking forward to seeing the final product. The outdoor setting is lovely. Yes, it will be a very pleasant spot to sit with a cuppa and some hand stitching.
