Home again, home again, jiggety jig.....

After a wonderful holiday and just such amazing time with my family I had an uneventful (although tearful) flight home - spare seats next to me and for one leg I had 4 seats to myself.... imagine that - overfed Nana sprawled over 4 seats - I sure hope I didn't snore!!!

My UK children took me out for a lovely dinner in London ..... of course there was dessert... pecan pie

Back home we had a lunar eclipse yesterday morning .... my son who lives further north (Queensland) - at the beach - (tough gig!!) took these pictures:

how awesome... I would have loved to have been there.  Apparently we will be at the centre of one in 2037 - here's hoping I will see it! We just had poor light for a while yesterday

What a lovely welcome waiting when I got back.....

I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful family and friends....

.... of course that includes blogging friends..... thanks for the emails and comments I have had and my apologies that I haven't commented much.... normal service will resume shortly!!!

I did manage a little bit of handwork on holiday .... a couple of wash-cloths....

.... not bad for 6 weeks....

Lucky also that I am back in time for

Go HERE to sign up at Heidi's .... I have some secret sewing to get done!

Righto, Gotto Go... still catching up on laundry!

Welcome home Fiona. So pleased your trip went well even though some sadness with leaving family. But a lovely welcome home too. It has been lovely following your trip - we didnt seem to visit much in common, other than London, but even there it seems you saw different parts to what we did.
Hugs xx
