.... Northwards to Norfolk ....

We visited bestest mil and were treated to a meal at her 'local' pub

I love the really old buildings and the history that is over here

Sheringham is on the coast so lovely to have a walk by the beach.... even though the weather is cold it was still essential to have an icecream cone whilst we walked.....

I keep forgetting to take pictures
but I am being fed
just wanted to assure you
in case anyone worried

Here we are

Our brother and sister in law live in a lovely country village.... walking the country lanes is a delight....

..... and playing around too..... this is our take of the Beatles Abbey Lane..... well..... it was a lane...

the villages have their local signs..... this is their local village sign ....

According to legend the founder of the Gresham family was found abandoned (15th century) in a grass meadow by a young lad who was alerted to that particular place by a grasshopper (thus the golden grasshopper on the sign)... he took the baby to the local farmer and wife who raised him and he grew up to be a financier for Queen Elizabeth I....

early barley crops in the land before winter ....

Right, Gotto Go.... time to be at the farm at Hemington.....

I am reading as many blogs as I can, I do miss all the chats, I see I am missing so many swaps, bargains and giveaways!!!!

... having such a lovely time.....

Looks like you're having a wonderful time...imagine spending time in a home like that...I've read of it in novels, glad you included a photo....wouldn't you love to see it decorated for Christmas....Be careful and take care of yourself, have fun, too.
