show and tell at club

As usual lots to see at club this week...

I thought this was very pretty...

and so was the backing.....

Very effective design...  all HST's placed differently to what you usually see...

a grouping of community quilts...

It was shared morning tea and there was a large spread....

.... much more than we needed...

I took these cheese and herb muffins, they were lovely just after cooking (we had to taste test them) but they were awful and dry the next day.... mustn't do that again....

I took this quilt in for Show and Tell... it is the 5th quilt I made using the Terra Australis fabrics.... all the shapes needle-turned and then stippling in between...

Righto, Gotto Go.... time for the second cup of coffee....

Lovely show and tell. Shame about the muffins - I guess they are like scones, delicious fresh but not good the next day. xx

Shame about the muffins.....they look like scones....perhaps re-heating them in the oven would freshen them up? Love seeing your show and tell, Fiona!

So much eye candy in this show and tell, Fiona. You are part of a very talented group of quilters. The cheese and herb muffins sound delish, right out of the oven. Too bad they dry out so quickly.

What lovely quilts! A feast for the eyes and the foods too! Those muffins look very good. It's too bad they dried out. What feast that was. I would love to join that group just for the food! LOL! I'm in the U.S. so it would be a bit of a commute. I adore your quilt. I've never seen one like that but so pretty. I have never done needle turning....that is quite a skill...one that I don't possess. You did a beautiful job.

Your group are such talented ladies Fiona ... lots of inspiration there. I am glad my grandson cannot see the first quilt as he would certainly covet that!! I find when my muffins go dry, then about 10 seconds (each) in the microwave & some butter & they are usually delicious eaten straight away.

What beautiful works... it's wonderful to meet so many like-minded people. I like. And I also like the breakfast table, nice treats. I would have baked a quiche :-)))
Greetings to you. And thanks for the photos.
