Made a bag........

Marina and I exchange hand made gifts every now and then

this time I made her a bag
for the main fabric I used a piece of 'raw linen'
it was more open weave than other fabric to I first lined it with thin vilene

a bit of texture and just the right colour

How cute is that bunting and the singing birds, patchwork base (only 121 blocks!)
button detail and magnetic clasp

Design by Anni Downs from her book "The Simple Life"

I might just need one of these myself?

Righto, Gotto Go... I think a song .....

Gorgeous!! I might just need to get Annie's book!! So far, I've been able to resist the temptation, but after seeing this adorable bag, it's going to have to go onto my list of 'must haves'!! Have a great day!

Fiona, it's gorgeous. Just 121 blocks little blocks, now that's my kind of project. Not to mention those cute little birds.
