The parrots are regular visitors and getting bold sitting at the table even when we are here..... they come and shout if there is no seed out....
The King Parrot is at the table (I call him Charles), behind at the seed table are a couple of Rainbow Lorikeets and on the lawn are a pair of Crested Pigeons doing their macho thing....
Each set is now on a paper plate ready for sewing.... this way if I have a bit of spare time I can go and get one done (we are all looking for that spare time aren't we?)
I do enjoy having different things to 'play' with, a gentle time to sit and watch the birds while I sit, or crochet, or sort colours.
Righto, Gotto Go..... coffee is drunk, the day has begun...

Your bird life is amazing Fiona - I would never tire of sitting watching them. Wonderful blocks all ready to sew & that crochet blanket is such a pretty restful shade of blue. xx
Love the company you "keep" in your backyard. The eyelets are wonderful. I have no idea how you make them but they sure look like very tiny stitches to me. And beautiful too! Looking forward to seeing this Wensleydale grow. Enjoy! ;^)
Doing well with you Hardanger lessons. Pretty threads.
Nice variety of birds visiting your place.
Loving your Blues/biege/creams for the blocks. So looking forward to seeing them come together . Great idea with the paper plates!
Blue and white is your colour theme ?
Lovely having the parrots and birds visit, they can be vocal can't they! I like the colours of the threads you have used. Yu are very organised having all your fabrics cut and ready to go! Your blanket is looking great. Soon I guess it will be too hot for wool and crochet.
Lovely to see the birds and your hardanger is looking so pretty, especially the paler one which is my favourite. That stack of plates is a brilliant idea, but also looks precarious! Hope it's in a safe corner. Crochet looking great. Enjoy the coming week. xx
Those birds have you well trained, Fiona......lol......your blue quilt will be very pretty! I have tried Hardanger many years ago, it's an interesting technique.
Lots of progress this week. Lovely to have feathered visitors.
am loving all the blues in your post!
There’s nothing better than a free range aviary of a backyard. So nice to have the parrots drop by to visit. I’m looking forward to watching your Wensleydale quilt grow in your lovely blues.
I do enjoy our cheeky birds!
I admire your patience with the hardanger. Such tiny work.
It is worth getting all that prep work done for Wensleydale. I like the way you have used the paper plates to sort them.
And your crochet blanket is growing and looking delightful.
You're working on something beautiful, and I'm so happy to see it.
Wonderfully organized with the paper plates, what a great idea... I'm looking forward to seeing your progress.
"Your" parrots in the garden are fantastic... I enjoy the tits, sparrows, robins, and blackbirds in my garden... it snowed yesterday, and today the sun is shining; it looks gorgeous outside... yes, I have to go out.
Hugs to you.
Viola
The parrots are so cool! The blanket is looking great too!
It's lovely having the bird life coming in so close and trusting.
The hardanger is looking good.
Your Wensleydale project is off to a good start ... lovely farbics and the paper plates are a great idea.
Oh the birds are gorgeous! Mum asked the other day if we had birds here.. I said yes, but more tip turkeys than parrots, lol! Your hardanger is so pretty - I would love to learn how to make that... xx
