This week disappeared....
I'm pleased to have finished this crochet throw.....
I really just was using up a bunch of lovely soft yarn I was given - at first it was going to be a shawl and then I changed my mind to make it bigger... one side is longer and wavier than the other but that won't be noticeable on my abundant lap....
Gave it a wash and it is outside on some towels to dry....
The throw is drying next to the new herb garden.... we are eating some lettuce and rocket leaves now... growing so well.
this week I got a few more pieces sewn on to Inner City.... trying to attach to the bigger piece and it's like a huge big tangle of fabric and card.....
This was the picture on the box with the clue of looking from the perspective of the fish in the aquarium at the back....
Thanks Sue for this challenge.... I have to admit Hubz did a lot more than me... I find it impossible to imagine and have to work out my left from my right!!
It is back in the box and waiting for a friend to collect and get challenged...
Puzzle Box is all cut out..... all blocks the same size and will really be quite a nice simple one to put together with an effective finish,,,,
When I needed a break from the EPP I picked up my Santa embroidery pattern gifted by Marina.... it is a Kathy Schmidt design and I rather like this charcoal colour as opposed to traditional Christmas colours.
Righto, Gotto Go, I want to prepare another block of Civil War fabric to start on now the crochet is done....
This is where I am up to with these blocks... still 7 to go and then lots of work on the borders.
Have a lovely weekend.......xx

Beautiful appliqué …
You certainly packed a lot in! The Civil War blocks are stunning and will be a nice change to work on after the crochet which will keep you cosy while you sew. Well done for finishing the jigsaw! xx
Your throw will be lovely and snuggly. The lettuces and herbs are going great guns for you. Hats off for getting the wasgij done....definitely challenging. You have made wonderful progress on CWB xx
Your crochet throw looks cosy! Well done on the herb garden, one of these days I will plant some.....we lost ours in the drought. That's a very interesting puzzle!
Gorgeous crochet throw! It will be lovely and cuddly I am sure! Love your herb garden, it's great to be able to just go out and pick a few leaves, etc, isn't it... and what a cool puzzle!! xx
It is amazing how time flies. Your throw looks so delicate. Doing that puzzle would be like paper piecing....all back to front....very confusing.
Hi Fiona this whole year is just flying it will be Xmas again before we know it lol.

Time flies - even when you are not having fun!
Civil War is looking grand - as are your other bits of sewing - those papers do make a cumbersome project ...LOL
