I had a double date on Friday.... I joined Wendy HERE and also went physically to Marion's studio and sewed with a small group..... Luckily here we are still able to meet with people
I got this embroidery done from Field Journal BOM..... there is stem stitch, feather stitch, long and short blanket stitch and some satin stitch in it......
Then the squirrel came by my place... it's been around blogland I see....
Anorina showed her wind spinner (and provided a written tutorial and video link) which I thought was great fun so I made one....
The weather has been just lovely... not a breath of wind so it's not really spinning but it is fun!
A couple more beds were done in my blackwork sampler this last week....
Then I gave him a haircut!!
Tip run to drop off a load of green waste then off to a landscaper to get a load of mulch.... got that put down over a garden bed - now it's time for a cuppa and some blog reading over HERE to see what the others made on Friday night...
Righto, Gotto Go...... keep safe and keep happy....xx

Love your new Field Journal flower. The wind spinner is a fun idea and looks so cool. Beautiful work in the blackwork garden. Fiona! What happened to you? You shrunk?!! Lol. No matter how hard we try to keep them small, they just grow and grow up. I bet you had a lovely time together. ;^)
Some lovely stitching Fiona and pretty colour wool you used for the spinner.

Blast those squirrels. The spinner looks nice and colourful. Now for a breeze. Where has the time gone. I can’t believe how tall he has grown.
Nice variety of stitches in that FJ block. Pretty spinner. They grow so fast at that age - we are planning a trip to UK next month and will see Philips grandaughter in the flesh for the first time in 20 months and I am sure she will have shot up! xx
I loved the windspinner on Anorina's blog too - yours looks great :-) And of course the FJ stitchery is Beautiful! Haha children growing up and up.... I still remember Nana's expression and how she'd shake her head when one of us kids would turn up and she'd see how much taller we'd grown ♥
Widget sounds little bit he's big now.... Omg.... How old is he now?
