In a bind.....

I managed to get the  binding sewn down on this quilt .....

It was quilted some time ago.... large single bed size....

I did up and down in the colours and leaves in the white... then a swirl in the green border and updownswirls in the border....

I think it's a lovely happy quilt made from a range of fabrics from quite a while back I think...

I have a son and grandiechildren in Melbourne and they have to wear masks so I have ventured into making a few.

While I was at it I decided I should have one for just in case we have to wear them too ...  occasionally I see someone wearing one but it's not compulsory or strongly advised in our state at this stage....

Thanks for those who sent ideas and help after my last post.  I ended up trying a couple of different ones and finally went for this one found HERE. Thanks Crafty Quilter... A few more steps than the rectangle ones but they seem to have a better fit.

I'm sure it would be very hard to pick out which one I am going to keep for me....

Righto, Gotto Go.... will be chilling this weekend... a bit cool and damp (wonderful).

I hope you have a lovely relaxing one doing something you love to do.....

It's a sweet and happy quilt. Great idea making some masks "just in case". Love that sewing machine print.

A very pretty finish on the quilt. Nice job on the face masks. I notice that you also went with the hat elastic.

That is such a happy quilt! Well done on the masks......I will not be making any. If the "you have to wear one" edict comes from On High I would rather buy one than make one.

Love the quilt, it has a lovely summery, girlie feel to it. I've got a couple of masks done so I can wear one, wash one. I'm just hoping I don't have to go in too many shops or else I'll have to make more

Lovely finish on your quilt. They are very reminiscent of Spring. Fresh and colourful.
Great work on all the masks, too. Hope you don't need them for yourselves!

Your quilt is beautiful and I love the quilting. Great masks. There are so many different ones it is hard to knowvwhat fits and what doesn't. Apparently, it is advised to wear a mask if you are not well so you lessen the likelihood of spreading anything. Despite being compulsory here, many are choosing not to which is quite frustrating.

The quilt is beautiful and the border really sets it all off. I enjoy making my own masks and extras for those who need them. I like how I can just hang it on my neck and pull it up if needed.
