Little quilts....

These little quilts are finished now.....

Light quilting to hold it together but keep them soft....

Binding finished off by hand....

… and another of United Stitches done....

there is always room for kindness in our world....

and I have finished all the blocks for Garden Sunshine (it was a free BOM by Quilt Doodle Designs last year)

with a 4" border in the white it is now in the quilting queue....

In my mini clean up I found 3 more boards that I had glued wadding to, so I glued on the binding this weekend.... 3 more block holders... they are so useful when building blocks and not wanting the bits to move around...
(I used pre-used corflute so you can see the shadow from the printing behind the wadding - gotta love upcycling!!!)

Lori Holt has a lovely free tutorial on making these HERE.  Mine are a slight adaption but the same concept. (me and glue guns don't seem to work well together)

Righto, Gotto Go..... lots to get done this week.... hope you have a great one.....

Beautiful little quilts Fiona, they will be much loved. I am enjoying seeing your stitcheries, and the quilt is wonderful. Had a giggle about you and the glue gun...they can be a challenge!!

Lovely little finishes. Love the one with the Prince because it has a horse on it. (I adore horses.) I love Garden Sunshine too. I didn't know what the end result looked like so I am surprised to see so many block units in it. It so beautiful and "sunny". I love it.
I love your boards. I want some too. I'm happy you shared the link so I can go and make my own. Thank you. (Now, where's my glue gun?) ;^)

Garden Sunshine is very pretty! Yes indeed......a kind word is never wasted, for sure. Have to admit to not being a fan of the hot glue gun, ut they do seem to work when nothing else does.

The baby quilts are beautiful, love the colors in them. I do wish I had more panels, great idea to use them for charity quilts. One of these days I will go through my stash, I know I have some kids prints.

The little quilts turned our rather cute and I love Garden Sunshine. Maybe I'm biased towards 30s prints. LOL. I agree the mini design boards work well. We also used preused corflute, but spray painted it white first, as ours had quite a dark sign on it. I had to work out how to use a hot glue gun and they aren't the best finish, but they work......very well. I'm sure you will find the extra ones handy.

Love the minis...so cute.
I have the opposite problem - I bought some gorgeous bias tape from your LQS and now cant find the same boards as I had used before..very annoying!

Gorgeous United stitchery - very wise words :-) Lovely little quilts, they'll make some small people happy and cosy. Garden Sunshine turned out beautifully - I love the fabrics you used.
