I am pleased that I have another bunch of these little blocks done.... there is still heaps more to do....
… and this weekend I spent some time cutting fabric for another lot which I will sew with the ChooseDay girls....
I also cut up pieces of my flannel to make up the first four blocks of the postcards quilt....
… which reminds me I need to get out the next group to hand stitch the pictures....
My flowerville block didn't need much more to finish off.... I have now starched it ready to applique onto the dresdens.... which I will sew with the ChooseDay girls...
… and I did get another little mouse done... I am trying to work hard on these and get them finished....
I think you know I like my rather eclectic pictures in the house... this is another little one which I think is sweet. I struggled to get the colours showing well but it is a bit bolder than this....
… it's on a little porcelain table..… just over an inch big...
It's part of a little sitting room set.... which I remember playing with at my Granny's house.... I just love it....
This weekend we finally found a display unit we liked and so some of my pretty things have been taken out of a storage box and placed in there... this little set was amongst them...
Righto, Gotto Go..... time to think about food ….. back in a heatwave here so it will be salads!

Gosh, just as I thought I was catching up to you.
I am not a stitcher but I do enjoy seeing your stitcheries, appreciating all those little stitches.
Cute little mice always make me smile, but if a real one should show up, it's a totally different story.
Sounds like there are special memories attached to that beautiful little porcelain tile.
Stay cool.
Your little table brings back memories......I used to have a set of that porcelain. It was lost many many years ago. Love those red and white blocks!

Little blocks can absolutely be fiddly Fiona, but they're worth it in the end, yes? I say so.

Looks like a whole lot more work ahead of you with the preparation. Always worth the effort.
I was thinking of you when the weather report was talking about the heat in your area and some of the records that have been broken. I hope that air con keeps working so you can stay comfortable.
