Last month I finished off this sweet ripple blanket... it is a cot size and has been hanging around for a very long time....
I also purchased some new strange yarn and made myself a scruffie scrubbie for the kitchen....
So that is my 2 finishes for OPAM this month.....
This very sweet ornament was made using a pattern from Yvonne at Yvonne W Designs (I follow her on Instagram).
The stitchery as you can see is only 2" square and was just so much fun to make. Most of it with one thread of floss and those sweet little French knot sheep are my favourite. Took me a couple of evening TV viewing to do it but I just love it.
I also have continued with circles... I have neglected them for a while so just getting through some - I can usually get 4 - 5 done in an evening (depending what's on TV!)
Tuesday sewing with the ChooseDay girls I worked on my pinwheels.... lots more trimming, stitching and squaring up.....
I still don't get my points exact!
When I got home I laid them all out on the design wall..... random can be a hard look to achieve sometimes and I could keep changing it but this is what I will go with....
I like to mark my left handed ones when I pile them up into rows so I always know which end is which. Can you see my fancy plastic things (from the end of bread bags). I have numbered pins but they slip out easily... this seems to work better for me - after all I do like to save and re-use things!
… and now they are ready with their lovely birdie clips ready for next Tuesday to be sewn into rows and joined together....
After I had made the pinwheel blocks I opened up a batik jelly roll and started sewing the strips together.....
There are two of each colour so I am making two of these pieces to start with... still some darker greens to add.
Righto, Gotto Go.... short road trip with my daughter today so she can buy some special basket she wants for a gift..... she is always great fun to spend time with and it's a beautiful day

Love the bread clip idea! The little birds are very handy, do you remember where you brought those? Love your landscape ornament, that is a lovely gift tag or decoration.

Can't wait to visit again... xox
Those pinwheels look so great! Bright and cheery and full of motion. Your little ornament is very sweet, especially the tiny sheeps :)
Great finishes and you know love the ripple blanket.
Great idea with the scrubbies, too.
The little stitchery design is a delight. So sweet.
The pinwheels are looking wonderful. That is going to be a bright and cheerful quilt.
Hope the shopping trip went well.
What a good idea for the scrubbies, lovely oprojects, but I think my favourite is the little stitchery, so sweet and those adorable tiny sheep. Have a good weekend xcx
You’ve been busy as always. The little decoration is too cute for words. Your random arrangement looks just fine to me and I do like your bread clip idea.
Love the teeny tiny stitchery and the pinwheels - scrappy IS hard.
Clever use of the bread tags....it is so annoying when you manage to out a row together the wrong way around.
