Done.....

Here is the finished quilt that Chookyblue made ....

... and sent to me to quilt and bind....

... ready to be posted off to Jewells ...

  • will make someone happy who lost so much in the Dugong floods

I got an interesting parcel in the post this week???
I wondered if someone thought I was changing hobbies?

This is what is inside... my swap pressie with came from Susan

 ..... no opening yet.....
...but I'm a bit excited...
.. it's quite heavy and doesn't rattle!..

In my evenings I have stitched a little mouse.... it's for a gift so I hope (secret) isn't frightened of mice

Last year I made up some wine totes to give as gifts (shown on this post HERE and there is a link to the free tutorial)  - last week I found some perfect fabric to make up a new supply later this year..... isn't is so fun?

Autumn has arrived properly now... we had a long summer but now leaves are changing colours and there is lots falling... beautiful blue skies, warm days and cool evenings.... I do love autumn

G is for Garden

Righto, Gotto Go.... my garden needs some watering too.... need to keep the grass nice and green

The new owner of that quilt will love it! Parcel surprises are great fun......you are lucky you are allowed to water the garden, we haven't been able to do much watering for months now.

Boy! You have been busy. The quilt looks fabulous and will be a lovely gift for someone in Dungog. Your stitcher it's are so nice and even. Beautiful work. I've used the wine tote tutorial as well the fabric will be perfect for them. I'm sure there will be something rather lovely for you in your parcel from Susan. Be strong until it is time to open it.

I knew that box would come back to haunt me. Rest assured the gift has nothing to do with fishing! I thought your new fabric was a new quilt........some possibilities there. Stitched mice are the only cute ones.

Great quilting, impressed you have already posted it, that was a good job done quickly! I think that mouse is very sweet...dont like live ones, but stitched ones are cute! You might have to hide that parcel to avoid the temptation!!

Lots to see in this post Fiona. Awesome of you to quilt the quilt for Chooky... I always tell myself I need to organise a few quilts rady to give as charity quilts when the need arises, but haven't done that yet. Your wee mouse and 'G' are gorgeous :-)
