Red Work Swap .....

I recently took part in a red work swap with a group of gals....

We were given 'secret' partners and had to make something that was at least 50% redwork - this is what I sent  to Lynda who has received it now.....

The mat is more the size of a tray cloth/ place mat - but of course it can be used for almost anything....

A bit of lime green border to give it a lift and pretty Warratah fabric around the border .....

lots of stitching in the design.... I found this picture on the internet over HERE .....

The "L" is from Michelle's latest stitchery alphabet.... and I love them so just made one to put inside - maybe Lynda can find something to do with it....

Righto, Gotto Go, other secret stuff to sew.....

Lovely Redwork Fiona. Your design is so unusual. Lynda's initial is lovely too. I've been trying to post about the lovely parcel I received but blogger isn't behaving and won't let me! Hopefully, it will work tomorrow.
