I couldn't help myself.....

I traced up all the cartoon stitcheries for Boys Story this week and they are tucked up in a box ready for packing.... but of course I thought I should just check to make sure the thread I have chosen will work and there will be enough....

I find the cartoons so amusing ......

.... and I'm not fond of toads (frogs I like but not toads....) but these ones are pretty cute....

Just recently Katherine and I did a bit of a swap and my parcel arrived today....

look at these lovely lovely blue and white fabrics which I have been collecting for a particular project... these will go with my others perfectly...

I while ago Katherine had a giveaway and I was a bit grumpy that I didn't win one of her hand made needlecases... well I can grump no more as one came with the fabric - it's just the loveliest little one for those sewing days .... The little feather stitch sampler is a mini-postcard ... what a cute idea isn't it?.... just lovely.  Of course chocolate and fabric is a perfect mix....

Katherine only started blogging recently and it has been great getting to know her and be inspired by her work.... if you haven't met why not drop by Rose Cottage and say G'day....  Thanks Katherine for such a fun parcel.....

I had sent some of my home felted wool felt .... there is a mixture of colours and thicknesses as I have felted woollen fabric and blankets .....

It's lovely to see the irises beginning to flower in the garden.... they always give a lovely show....

.... and so goes life on wisteria lane ... aka our place

Righto, Gotto Go..... a weekend to enjoy....

I *do* love the Boy's Story quilt, but it's low on the to do list as I don't have a boy ... and I don't think L would be interested in this one - need to find something prettier for her, lol! ... The blue fabrics & postcard are gorgeous ... and those wisterias - divine!! Oh, if only I could just get a whiff of their scent, I'd be in heaven!! They don't grow up here in sunny Darwin!! :( Have a great weekend beautiful!! Hugs! x
