Monthlies.....

I do appreciate nowadays that when I say "it's that time of the month" … it means a sewing date!

Last night Cheryll had us over for FNWF, and Marion at The Quilters Angel had us over for stitching at the shop....

The days are already getting shorter, at 6.30 when I arrived for stitching the sky was ablaze.....

I worked on my latest Flowerville block … didn't get much done... I ended up sitting next to Kris... so that's my excuse for not getting much sewing done!

I did the chain stitch on the spout.. and the decorative bit on the lid....

I have for months been slowly working on some stitching mice....

Hubz said this one was looking a bit sad.... so I said it is sad... cos her husband wouldn't let her buy more fabric.... That shut him up!

One of my monthlies is the mystery blocks by Quilt Doodle Designs ... I am enjoying these - sweet blocks and lovely fabrics...

This morning I made up the flying geese section for this months block....

… and traced out the embroidery section (there is the option for applique too)

This week I want to sew the tulip, work on Flowerville and another mouse.... hmmmm

Righto, Gotto Go..... better get to stitching.... have a lovely weekend.

I'm glad that "that time of the month" is always a good thing around here now too. You look like you are making good progress on all of your projects. How nice that you can meet with others to do share in the joy. Our days are finally getting longer now. I guess we can take turns.

Thanks for the laugh this morning, Fiona! I love the little mousie carrying her bolts of fabric. I'm guessing she has places in the mouse den where she can hide it from her hubby :)

That is a beautiful selection of projects. The mouse is rather cute. Wow! What a sunset. We are still in daylight saving for another month, so evenings are still longer. However, the mornings are quite dark now.....and will be very dark by the time we turn the clock back.

Hey! Wait a minute! I'm sure I'm not the bad influence here! I managed to do quite a bit of stitching so it must have been Julie who was the bad influence! Tee! Hee! Hee! Somehow we both keep ending up at the naughty table, don't we?! We are so misunderstood! :0P. Love your meece & had a good giggle at your logic for why she might be looking sad. :0) I've finished my second block & started sketching the next ... Stay tuned! :0) Bear Hugs! KRIS xx
