.... and HELLO July...

My OPAM projects...

Little Apples Baby Quilt, winter wallhanging, Little Bit French lavender bag and doily, soap (NEW craft!!), Little Village quilt , Welcome Wallhanging, Paper pieced mini quilt and Colour and Carry folders....
not sure if the soap counts but it was fun to make...

I won some scraps from Art Gallery... and when they arrived they were quite big pieces in lovely turquoise shades - I have been wanting to use the apple core with my Go Baby so I have been sewing these this week....

LOOOOOAAAAAAAADS of pins... small stiches going slow....

two little baby quilt tops  ready to put together and quilt....

I will do some quilting and then
my new challenge is to do proper bias strips so I can bind round those curves

Little Bit French gift in the post..... mine is going overseas so I sent it in a Little Bit of Downunder dishtowel....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
THE BIRDBATH
This is the little fairy wren in his winter colours... very shy and quick so I don't too often manage a picture....
Righto, Gotto Go..... bias binding to make
I do hope you all have a magnificent July
Love your project collage. More like you finished one a week, I thought OPAM was monthly? LOL
Little birdies are cute. And the apple core quilts are going to be wonderful.
A very productive month. It must be very satisfying to look at all you have achieved. Soap making sounds like a lot of fun. Good luck with the new activity.
Using the apple core design for those baby quilts is a great idea. The colours look great, too.
Isn't that fairy wren delightful. They are so tiny. Lovely to see them coming in to the bird bath.
I think you have got more finished in one month than I get done in the whole year!! Your little apple core quilts are beautiful! Not sure I would have the patience to bind around all those curves. Hugs xx
Hope the bias binding goes OK. I've always loved that apple core shape and saw how they can go together using paper piecing the other night - very clever. Having a go-baby would make it so much easier - lucky you!
