No sewing ......
Grandieboy from Melbourne flew over to stay ...... this is his first visit on his own and we are just loving having him.
He just loves fishing... and fly fishing is the latest obsession. There is a dam 20 minutes down the road ..... happy to spend a few hours there whether he catches or not - cold and windy the last couple of days so I was sitting in the car!
Widget is in Rockhampton playing in a League competition which is live streamed so we have been keeping up with his games (here's an action shot from one of their games)
We taught Jack how to play Risk - picked it up so quick and now we have a couple of games a day
Today Pops has taken him for a round of golf - he's never played but happy to give it a go and tomorrow we have found a Lure and Fly Expo to go to - he will have a lovely day (I wonder if they have seats for waiting Nana's)
Any chance I get I have been doing a few rows of crochet - just grey and white stripes this time
Righto. Gotto Go and do some grocery shopping - one forgets just how much a growing teenager boy eats!!

Teenage boys are a bottomless bucket when it comes to food.

That will be a very special week. The reason I couldn’t get a flight out of Rockhampton was the fact there were three big sporting carnivals on the one weekend. I hope their team did well.
