April Finishes.....

Our UK daughter mentioned she had extra luggage allowance so I asked if she would like some quilts to take back.....

Well we had to give her an extra suitcase!  A couple she had chosen still had the binding to finish so I got those done...

Angel Story was sewn some years ago... an Anni Downs pattern done in Tilda fabrics...

It was a fun one to stitch and quilt...

Some coordinating Tilda fabric for the backing....

I made two very similar quilts with these fabrics, one already went to someone and this one is now a finish too....

... all over quilting.....

... and a cheerful backing....

I finished this Urban Street EPP quilt in November 2024 ...

This Wedge quilting sampler was finished in February 2024.....

This one was  finished in May 2022 (2m square)

Charming Stars was finished in January 2023

Mama Tembo was finished in January 2022.... it's a big quilt...

It is a lovely feeling when the quilts are wanted and now I have an empty shelf!!!  I still have lots I want to make, and lots of tops to finish off...

Righto, Gotto Go...... coffee time....  have a lovely week....

Wasn’t that a great result. Some of your quilts finding a new home with your family, which is not usually a practical thing to do with postage etc., and more room for you to make more quilts. Win, win. Isn’t it nice that she chose quite a few.

I think it is wonderful that your daughter wanted so many of your quilts. That is so special.
I often wonder what will happen to all that we have made over the years.
But you will know that there is someone who appreciates them.
What a great selection that she has taken home.

What a wonderful parade of fabulous quilts this post has. Your daughter has great taste but then again, she's a great one to take after. An empty shelf is asking for more quilts but which one to do first? Enjoy! ;^)

What a lovely treasure trove of goodies...those suit cases must have been heavy! Your family will feel the love as they snuggle under them.

What beautiful quilts... wonderful... the Urban Street EPP quilt impresses me with its gorgeous pattern, as does this quilt in red and yellow and Mama Tembo... all of them are beautiful, I tell you. Your daughter will be so lucky. Yes, it's fantastic when quilts are needed... as you know, I'm on Quilt number three (with Kaffe Fassett fabrics), which will be a gift, and number 2 (with Tilda fabrics) is being given away today, and number 1 (with Tula Pink fabrics) - yes, my first quilt - is staying with me :-)))
Hug from Viola
Happy giving!
