FNwF ......

Thank you to Cheryll for hosting FNwF last night...... even though most nights I do some sort of hand stitching I do like the thought that many of us are doing it at the same time....

I worked on stitching some more alphabet bears whilst the footy was on.... I am not going in any particular order but I knew I wanted orange in my O for orange so I worked on that....

I have done all the bears and will go through doing the letters now so I can do a variety of colours.. and then fill in the little extra bits....


This week I  have been playing with my scrappy strips which had been joined and cut into blocks....



... and started sewing them together to make longer strips....


It's lovely having a long weekend, we have young widget to stay as his mum is in hospitality and this is one of their busiest weekends of the year (Toowoomba hosts a huge music festival at Easter).  

Hope you are all enjoying your weekends... however you spend it...

Righto, Gotto Go... little boys need regular feeding!!

    Miss Orange Bear is rather cute, such a fun stitchery. Don't you just love patchwork we cut up small pieces of fabric to make big pieces. Enjoy the weekend with the little one.

  14. I love the look of the orange thread, nice to do stitcheries in new colors, I tend to stick with the basics.

  18. FNWF is a bit funny, I too stitch most evenings. Lovely projects for the weekend, and nice to have some young company too. I hope the easter bunny found you both.
