I'm continuing to work on a Snowball Sewalong hosted by Terry . It was going to be a way to use up scraps but I had some matching fabrics (fat eight size) so decided to use them and add stitcheries using similar colours...
It still gives a scrappy style look but in coordinated colours....
I have made a nice pile of 9 patch blocks now...
The little pile of 2 1/2" blocks is for the corners of the snowballs....
I am doing Michelles alphabet bears in the snowballs so this part is going to take a bit longer
I couldn't resist putting a few of them together....
... and this give a little bit of an idea of how they will come together. I like the link the snowballs are creating with the 9 patches...
... so I am 4 letters down! only 22 more to go!!! But at least the 9 patches are done....
I love it... thanks Terry for getting this going
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hubz has a small workshop area and noticed something he didn't put there the other day....
He has obviously been entertaining friends I don't know about!!! This snake skin was about a metre long .... I may be wrong but think it is from a carpet python, non venomous but can bite if annoyed too much .... I'm not a snake fan so have been walking carefully around that area
Righto, Gotto Go.... better go and sort a few more alphabet bears out...
Wishing you all a wonderful Easter holiday ... hope everyone can take a break from the frenetic pace of life and have some time doing something you love...
