A few more blocks have been quilted, a few more rows crocheted, some more looped picots on the Hardanger and a few more stitches added to a piece...
I did complete another Caswell block.... all those grapes!!!!
This is the pattern, the flowers were supposed to be lots of petals... an executive decision was made!
I've been baking for my daughters family lately - just some sweet treats ... It was worth it so see the size of the slice Widget cut!
Hubz was getting grumpy he didn't get cake so I made him his own little mini one!
Righto, Gotto Go .... the day is waiting.
This is my bit of festive ... hopefully it will survive long enough to go in the garden.

Shame is flushing my cheeks about Caswell lol! Good decision on the regig. Shall be taking that under advisement too. It looks beautiful! Wow that's a yummy looking cake and I am sure Mr R enjoyed his special one. I'm with Widget...you have to give it a good taste test. Hugs xxx

That cake looks so good! Blueberries are my favourite, you know. You are the perfect wife for baking DH a mini cake. So sweet. Enjoy! ;^)

ReplyDeleteyour Caswell block is so pretty. Ooo yummy cake, love hubby's little one. :) My poinsettias are weird, they were lovely & red a couple of months back but for Christmas they are green yet the ones in the shop are red. I'm puzzled.
