Growing .....

A bunch of blocks were made for the flannel quilt....

As usual I sewed a double seam so when cutting off the excess I had already sewn HST's...

Border blocks added on....  That green on the table in front of it is for the final border which I hope to do this week ...

HST's trimmed (3" square) and put away for another day.... (strange sense of satisfaction in a pile of fine trimmings)

Field Journal blocks continue.... pleased with doing a few bullion stitches on this banksia one....

some cherry blossoms...

and a sweet daisy....

Tuesday sewing day with friends was spent doing the binding on a quilt that has been very patiently waiting for a long time....  so I'll soon have a finish...

Hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week.... fog is down, fire is on, machine is plugged in.... I'll be in 'that' room....

  2. Oh the colors in the flannel quilt make it look sooo cute and cozy! I know, how can colors look cozy, don't know, but they do! It's going to be such a lovely snuggly quilt when it is done! xx

  3. OMG! Look at all those tiny little stitches in Field Journal blocks. I guess there's as much thread in these 3 blocks as in all the rest, lol. Quite an accomplishment. Bravo! Love the border on the flannel quilt. Love that you alternate two different blocks. It's perfect!
Looking forward to seeing which quilt you are putting the final touches on. ;^)

The flannel quilt looks wonderful as do your stitcheries, so many different stitches. Very efficient of you to have the half square triangles ready to go!
