Winter has officially started here... but the fire has been burning a few days.... I still have my lovely Autumn mini quilt up from Maria and will need to change it for the season.
I've had a nasty cough so been lying low - this cold front is a good reason to stay indoors.
May finishes included...
My Bali Batik Quick Curve Ruler quilt.... (just needed the binding done)
The crochet blanket (which is a gift)
The Giraffe baby quilt (pieced, quilted and bound for a gift)
A pair of little shoes....
... and a dribble bib....
I had this quilt all cut out using some more of my Terra Australis fabrics..... it is the second top I have made using these...
Naive Melody was the start of using this fat quarter pack I fell in love with.... this top was finished in January 2021 - still waiting to be quilted....
This is a free pattern called Puzzle Box by Christa Quilts.... effective and easy....
I have taken out some more fabric to slice and dice..... Chookyblue is having a Churn Dash SAL and I do love a SAL ... and I had this fabric in my cupboard that needed using..... and I love the comraderie sewing with friends....
the binding was made for Puzzle Box - same light grunge as the background....
Evening sewing has produced this snail for my Field Journal embroideries....
Righto, Gotto Go..... stoke up the fire and get to slicing and dicing..... and some sewing....
Have a lovely rest of the week....
You might be lying low because of the cough but it has not stopped your beautiful work.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful collection of finishes. I do love Lucy’s rug patterns and colours. Maybe I’ll tackle one some day. I have a Terra Australis jelly roll. The fabrics look so good isn’t the puzzle box quilt. The snail is so cute, especially with all the colour shading.
