I worked on my scrappy fish this week...
then I started to put some together as I have 4 colours now..... you can start seeing how they link together
They would be more effective with less busy in the 'water' but the idea was to use up my scraps so I will live with it...
Lots of variety and talent at Quilt Group this week..... I'll just put up the pictures and stories
This was one I made in 2014.... one of my favourites... Boys Story by Annie Downes.
A few didn't have explanations with them...
Wishing you all a wonderful Easter weekend, we are very lucky to have son and two boys who we haven't see for over 3 years due to restrictions.... I might be a little excited and I might have bought a rather large amount of chocolate eggs!
I am lucky enough to have a few special things to put up and someone brought me those pretty roses yesterday and they match perfectly...
Righto, Gotto Go, beds to make, groceries to buy, cake to bake.....
Oh! My! Three years without seeing them! The fun you will have this weekend! I would be so over the moon with not just chocolate but everything else too. 😉
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about the water being "loud". As you add more fish, the water will calm down. It's the way our brain works. Once it spots a pattern, it tries to find some more and "eliminates" the loud water. Keep at it. You won't regret it. Thank you for sharing such a lovely parade of quilts. You did an AWESOME job with the quilting on the first quilt. LOVE IT! Enjoy your weekend. ;^)
Those fish are looking very effective. Enjoy your family time....so precious. Happy Easter.
