November!

Thank you Kris for hosting OPAM..... this month I did get my pretty Nature Panel quilt finished.... well all I needed was quilting and binding as the top didn't need any work!

I had done the quilting in October and finished off with the binding this month...

Thank you Cheryll for hosting WOOFA... working on some of those 'in the queue' projects...

I carried on with quilting ....  these blocks were from a 9 patch swap done in 2013!  I made a couple of tops with all the patches I had.... the other one was made and gifted in 2016... you can see it HERE if you are so inclined.....

and I also put this quilt top together.... after a few years of waiting....

It has now progressed to the waiting for a backing queue but has it's binding ready and waiting...

This is another UFO top that has been laying around in a plastic box.... it was made several years ago....

I need to buy some red for binding for this one....

Meanwhile handwork has continued in the evenings.... I've done a couple more of my coloured blackwork....

Roses.....

and Dutch Iris.....

Trying to get a few leaves done each night for the next Civil War Bride block....  it looks a bit spindly at the moment!!

Progress has been made on the Jelly Roll quilt fabric sent by Sue.... I am doing two quilts... a larger one using the darker fabrics in the roll and then a baby size using the lighter fabrics....

These are put away ready for a machine sew day with friends later this week....

Righto, Gotto Go......

The sun is shining today, washing is hanging out, mowing is having to be done again....  but I will be off to the sewing room of course....

Hope you have a wonderful week.....

I really love how you got the 9-patch finished...it looks great with the white background and I am a sucker for pinwheels......just spent a week with my son under a beautiful pinwheel quilt my Mom handstitched for him years ago.......well done on all Fi!

  8. Busy month! I really like that quilt of squares you assembled. Smart thinking to get the binding ready and store it with the top!
