This week....

It's already Thursday!!! where has my week gone?

A lovely surprise arrived for me from Ingrid (instagram link) who I have never met but has been so kind to send me a panel she thought would be fun for me to practice on the longarm with....  there is a cute notebook holder and needleminder too....  I just need some suitable backing and this can be played with....

20 odd years ago Hubz used to play golf regularly... one of his retirement plans is back to it..  he has been gathering supplies.... and he raided my kitchen towels drawer!!!!!  Apparently you need to wipe the golf balls ....

Well I found some golf themed fabric online at the big store and so I made him his own ones!

Sorted!

I have sewn up my wedges for a free motion course wedge sampler  - not sure what I was thinking but I made a lot more than was set so there will be lots of practice!

It is almost time to have done 4 more sampler blackwork lollies....  these two are done.  These are certainly a challenge.

a few more rows on my crochet blanket.....

... and another Field Journal embroidery....

Tuesday sewing got 4 more blocks together.....

So a busy sewing week for me.... progress on several things and a few quick finishes...

After horrible year with lockdowns and online schooling etc we were chuffed to hear our eldest Grandson in UK passed his A level exams.....  good lad....

Righto, Gotto Go.... better scramble around for something to eat this evening....

  5. Was he really willing to leave home with a pink towel? He's brave and I admire that. Great job on the new towels. Such a good wife (and rescuer) you are. Ingrid's panel looks like a fun practice piece. Looking forward to seeing what you will do. Field Journal block: are those all French Knots? OMG!! The blackwork is amazing. You've really worked on your projects this week. So much got done and all is beautiful. ;^)
