This last week went by so fast I woke up this morning thinking it was Tuesday!!!! duh
Sunday was Mothers Day here.... local daughter was working and the rest are too far away but I did have a picnic lunch gifted by them to pick up...
It was a lovely assortment of goodies from a lovely family run cafe....
I did take my crochet, but I kept making mistakes and did more undoing than doing.... (could have been that bottle of sparkling wine though)
There was also an Op-shop fashion show which was a bit of a giggle....
I won a trim ruler as a door prize....
Wednesday was some quilting time and I did this sweet baby quilt made from the leftovers that I really loved...
Thursday I had a couple of friends over for sewing..... I got on and made up microwave bowl holders. They only use 10" squares so I was able to find lots amongst the recent gift of scraps I was given....
I didn't read the sign on this piece.... !!!! I better keep that one myself or I might lose a friend!!!
There is a good assortment.. I made 9 which is an strange number but that was how many wadding pieces I cut out from the scraps!
Time does seem to be flying, doesn't it? What a great week you had with lots of delicious looking food. Wow those blocks are fantastic and look magical all together. It's gonna be a fab quilt.
