sewing, sewing.....

The first row of Civil War Bride is together.....  looks so much better than individual blocks

I have prepared up some of the next block and am sewing the stems at night....

I find them a bit fiddly so that is a whole Harry Potter films worth!!

This little quilt had it's binding sewn down during another film!

It's lovely and soft with a fairly loose quilting....

... and another Field Journal has been completed.  This was my first time doing the wheat stitch which I love the effect, Mr Google was very helpful finding a resource to teach me....

Hubz has been off work this week so lots of sorting in the shed has been done.... the jigsaw has been finished...

This one was quite a challenge and I have ordered jigsaw glue so it can be preserved and framed....

A plumbing problem used up a whole day (his and mine) and made a lot of mess and multiple calls to plumber son .... but I think it's sorted and the mess has been cleaned!

Righto, Gotto Go..... I have some quilting to do!

  5. Love your little quilt, very pretty and your Field journal block is beautiful. Plumbing jobs are the worst, always messy and seems the water goes everywhere. Hope you got it sorted. That jigsaw looks complicated, no wonder you wish to preserve it. xcx
