Thank you so much Cheryll for hosting us.... as usual I had a double date sewing with blog friends and then a small group of us at The Quilters Angel...
I did some sewing of tumblers in the day....
These will be little quilts as you can see....
I will square them up after quilting....
Last night with the girls I started sewing down the binding of my flannel postcards quilt.... since there were not many of us I was able to put the heavy quilt on the table and sew away..... almost done so it will be finished by next week....
I have a young man visiting this weekend, footy game this morning then a bit of shopping for essentials like icecream, biscuits and lollies!!! Toilet paper craziness continues (I have enough for a couple of weeks so not needing but I am just amazed that it is being stockpiled!! (clearly rumours have scared the #@&* out of people!) There are reports of brawls in the supermarkets where people are fighting over it!
Righto, Gotto Go..... stitching to do.... movies to watch (Widgets choice is SpongeBob today! Hope you have a lovely stitchy weekend....
Lovely mini quilts. I especially love the second one but they are all lovely. Enjoy the company of the young man. You know they grow so fast. Sponge Bob won't be there forever. (So happy my boys are done with him. Ugh!) ;^)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Just shout out if you run out. I'll ship you a couple of rolls, hahaha! People are strange.
The little Tumbler quilts are cute ... Love the strippy binding on your Flannel Postcards Quilt, will be a cosy one when we get winter..
ReplyDeleteYeh I don't know what the toilet paper frenzy is about ??????
Have a lovely day with young Widget....
Cute tumbler quilts and a striped binding is always a nice finish.
ReplyDeleteIndeed.....we are all having a laugh at the toilet paper wars right now, one was fought in this town the other day and resulted in a bloke being tasered! Cute little tumbler quilts, aren't they?
ReplyDeletecute little tumblers...hopefully some hand sewing whilst watching sponge bob!
ReplyDeleteAlways lovely to be stitching down binding and your little quilts look great. Am monitoring the toilet paper situation but as always there is no problem here. Will probably take a supply with us to UK at Easter though. Have fun with your young man. xx
ReplyDeleteYour tumbler tops are cute. Great to see the Postcards binding going on. Have a great time with Widget. I can't believe what is happening with the toilet paper stockpiling!! Frightening.
ReplyDeleteThe tumblers look great
ReplyDeleteThe only good thing about this toilet paper craze are the jokes coming from it
Iam enjoying a good laugh and wonder how people can be so shall we say..... stupid
Thanks for stopping by for FNwF... & ENjOY what's left of the weekend... xox
ReplyDeleteThe tumblers look great Fiona. Love the binding on your Postcards...sadly mine is neglected lol! No need to bring your own tomorrow....invoice will be presented at the end of the days festivities lol!
ReplyDeleteLoving your little tumbler quilts ... I felt guilty buying toilet paper last week and I had a genuine need, when you live out of town you can't leave it till the last roll.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your little visitor and see you next week :) xx
love the little tumblers :)
ReplyDeleteSuch darling quilts! I love the stripe you're using on your postcards. I can't believe the hysteria over toilet paper - we shop in bulk so we're good, but it's starting to hit here too. Enjoy your time with Widget!!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly accomplish a lot!
ReplyDeleteNIce to have a busy weekend with your young man..haha there's been bulk toilet paper buying going on over here as well! Your charm quilts look great - such a good way to use the scraps and I like the way you are using a constant background. Fun binding for your postcard quilt.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tumbler quilts and yes, isn't it insane? The Great Toilet Paper shortage! So embarrassing as a nation.
ReplyDeleteLove your tumbler quilts. I have always thought it would be fun to make one with all my scraps. I am amazed at people and the panic buying that is going on. Went to our local Walmart a week ago to just do some basic shopping and couldn't believe how bare many of the shelves were. No water, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc. Hope the frenzy soon dies down.
ReplyDeleteHi Fiona I love your tumble block quilts ,such pretty fabrics ,no one in our family have been able to get any toilet paper,it's ridiculous ,especially as it is made in Australia and it's a lung virus not a gastro one ,one would think that they would be going for cough lollies and cough medicine ,lol, what a crazy world we live in.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful time with widget my friend ,take care xx
I think this is one of the most significant information for me.
