This big block is finished now... I am really enjoying these stitcheries with the lovely variegated thread and then making up the little Dresden blades and finally appliqueing them all together.
At the weekend Hubz put up some nails and got "My Small World" up in it's place above the bed
I finished off these pretty little stitcheries. They were started in September last year at Stitchers Dream Day out where we did the colouring and setting.
The pattern is for a manicure set but I will adapt it a little to be something for sewing …. perhaps a thread holder....
This ChooseDay I caught up on my One Block Wednesday blocks....
12 for last week....
… and 12 for this week...
I love the look of lots of small repeat blocks... but I have to admit I do find it tedious so it's a good project to do with company.....
Whilst Hubz had the hammer and nails out we also put up this little group of watercolours…. I know nothing about them except they were in my Grandparents home once …. I love them....
Righto, Gotto Go..... got some job job things to catch up on.....
Keep safe, floods, drought, dust storms, heat waves, temperatures dropping suddenly, fires etc here in Aus and freezing conditions at the other side of the world .... gosh the weather is being fierce and effecting so many people in different ways....
Lovely finish on the Flowerville blocks. Such pretty colours.

Small World is lovely, and Flowerville is very sweet! Your watercolours are very special - any idea who painted them? It's dusty here today, quite hard to breathe outside, but fortunately not quite as hot as we were expecting.
