Lovely to take part in FNWF again …. Last one this year and thanks Cheryll for hosting us each month...x
I continued with my latest block of Flowerville… the leaves and the bird got sewed!! that's all...
but in the afternoon I had managed to sew down one row of elongated hexagons.... only 3 more to go!
This weekend I am tracing a few fun applique pieces to make some pillowcases...
and will continue with Flowerville and sew those last few flowers....

Righto, Gotto Go.... we are going for a little drive - over the last year or more a huge new road has been worked on and a portion of it opened yesterday... so we want to try it out.

It's not often you get to drive on a brand new road, especially a big one! I remember when a big, long awaited freeway opened up near us. We were practically giddy to drive it for the first time. I can tell you enjoyed FNWF. Such a nice tradition :)
