TA - DA .... sort of....

All my Sylvia's Bridal Sampler blocks are sashed and trimmed

I don't know when I am going to get to sewing them together - I am still wondering where the blocks should go - I put these up randomly


Meantime I found some time to do a bit of catch up with Splendid Sampler blocks

I'm still a little way behind - it's no race but I know I loose motivation if I don't keep up ....

    *swoon* those blocks are so so so gorgeous!!!!! You'll have fun re-arranging them - but don't give yourself a headache, lol. Your SS blocks look great!

    Oh how wonderful....
    take a front on pic.... Look at it.... Turn it to black and white... Look again. If nothing smacking you in the face join it as is......

    Wow, the sampler blocks are awesome. The look great just 'plonked' there. It is a bit quilt.
    I have not doubt it will be awesome regardless of the layout.

    Fantastic Fiona...the Sylvia blocks look amazing!!! Randon putting together looks pretty good to me!! Your other sampler blocks are wonderful too.

    The problem will be the more you move them around the more you need to move them...if you get what I mean. Your SS blocks are gorgeous too - love the Dresden one.

    Absolutely stunning Fiona. My tips would be to squint at the layout to see if anything stands out. Also, taking a photo seems to reveal things the eye can't see. And lastly, there are lots of perfect layouts, not just one. Have fun.

    GOOOOORGEOUS! Sylvia Bridal Sampler quilt is GOOORRRGEOUS! So close to the end. Yay! you! In the picture, the colours look pretty even out so you did an excellent job with the layout so far. Enjoy the catching up with the Splendid Sampler. ;^)

    Your bridal sampler blocks look amazing. I am still blown away by the amount of work in them. Keeping them on your design wall will give you plenty of opportunity to rearrange them into a setting that pleases you.
    And lovely working keeping on with the SS blocks, too. So gorgeous.

    Wow! It's gorgeous! Randomly placed works for me! Esp. when there are so many blocks. You could make yourself crazy changing them out, trying to 'get them right'! Your sampler blocks are looking pretty nice, too! XO
