...for not commenting much but my mind has been all over the place and not on blogging...
We bought a house..... YAY
Met up with Maria all the way from Western Australia... been bloggy friends for years and so wonderful to catch up in real life
... for tea and scones....
...sewed the border on my Natures Journey ....
.. took a road trip.....
... Northwards where it is warm....
Hervey Bay Marina at night....
... for this reason....
... humpback whales....
.. in the clear blue sea....
I'd go back again in a heartbeat... this is the second time we have been to see them .. truly awesome creatures
... had yummy breakfasts ....
... went for long walks on the beach....
... popped in to say G'day to Mary Poppins....
(the author was born in Maryborough apparently in the building behind the sculpture which was a bank at the time)
... shared seafood meals....
...... resting before the September craziness...
... I had a whale of a time (pardon the pun!)....
Righto, Gotta Go.. the thing about going away is all the dirty washing that comes back ... worth it though....
so nice you got to meet Maria..........NJ looks good.........wow seeing the whales up close...........one day I may get to do that..............

Well of course you haven't had time for blogging! I'm so jealous that you got to meet Maria. We went whale watching in Alaska a couple of years ago, and it was just fascinating to watch them. You have some lovely photos of your time away from the blog. Have fun moving!!
ReplyDeleteHi Fiona ,wow thats awesome house about your new home, how exciting for you both, your block looks fantastic well done and love those holiday pics,oh how lovely that you got to meet Maria, what a happy life you lead my lovely friend.xx
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new house! I think we saw whales once, while we were kayaking. We heard the noise and could see the water motion, so I took zoom photos and when I looked at them, I saw a long whale shape in the water. I would love to see them breaching and close up.
