FNWF results....

So Friday was a great day to stay home and sew..... it rained and rained... and rained...

I did some quilting and this is my little warm up piece....  nice soft watery shapes...

In spite of 5" of rain and still coming down I thought I should go out to my Friday night sewing so I could stitch with cyber and in person friends ...

I got a bit bogged getting out the driveway..... so I had to go forwards....

... and back again on the other side!!!!

(I am married to a very kind and tolerant man... but he found it impossible to understand how I managed to mess up BOTH sides of the driveway! ... easy I said... too easy) ...

I'm glad I did continue on my way as there was sweet treats to be had....

Marion made this Banoffie Pie.... just very wickedly delicious....

I started sewing the smaller pieces for my Natalie Bird "In My Garden" quilt which is a Facebook Stitchalong De is hosting...

... this is the progress I had over the evening,

I have continued to work on my Alphabet Bears in the evenings and C is for Cupcake... and cherry.... and cute!

Righto, Gotto Go.... need to supervise the fixing of the ditches on the side of the driveway!!!

  8. Where there is a will, there is a way. And if there is pie at the end of the trail, even better.

  22. WOW with that much rain, you were lucky to be able to get to go stitching in person with friends as well as virtually with the rest of us who signed up for FNwF. I love the colors in the quilt you are quilting. And that is a really sweet stitchery that you started working on. Your C is for Cupcake Bear is just too cute!
