.. using up scraps....
I did write up a tutorial for these very easy quick and useful thread catchers HERE....
...these are going in the giftie box ...
I have one that lives in my pick up and go sewing bag.... it's ok to drop threads on your own floor but surely etiquette forbids us to do it to others????

Cute! I should try making one from your tutorial for my 'pick up and go'sewing, too! That's a good idea and it would get a lot of use.
Very pretty and practical. They look lovely all together.
Hello Fiona,
The thread holders are so pretty. Have bookmarked the page with the tutorial. Thanks for the inspiration to use up more of the fabric stash.
Happy days.
Bev.

Have fun! 20 is a good number to work with.
Lovely collection and perfect for gifts!!
great thread catchers. Tidying up can be dangerous, I'm still working my way through the stuff I got out at the beginning of the year
A cute and very practical way to use up scraps!
They look great, and very handy too.
They look very festive in a grouping...nice work, nice idea

I think I might have to start up a giftie box... Great idea!
These are a great idea, have checked out your tutorial so think I will have to make some. Thanks Fiona. Hugs.......
I love my thread catcher and I take it everywhere, they are lovely gifts!
Great thread catchers, Fiona. You have been busy!
Great idea Fiona...off to visit your tutorial!
Those are super cute, Fiona! I inadvertently drop thread everywhere I go - it clings to my clothing and falls off where it shouldn't. *G* Love your bath mat too, it looks SO soft and cushy!
that's a lot of thread catchers! They look lovely all together like that. I like how you are always "finding" things that you need to make up, but you are so productive. Do you have a big box of WIPs or are they all new projects?
Lovely thread catchers, Fiona! I actually made one after your tutorial a couple of weeks ago. All I can say, I'm a terrible pattern reader. But it turned out allright anyway.
They are so handy Fiona. I'm very excited to have mine
