I love parcels ....

Such a lovely surprise getting my parcels from Dawnie..

Here is a lovely fat Santa with lollies in his tum and a chocolate bar (which disappeared quick smart I can tell you... chocolate was NEEDED after the stinky hot day we had!)

A beautiful reindeer decoration and some handcream... just the perfect size for in the sewing bag .....

... for the sewing room was a whole set of selvage themed items... a thread catcher, which is now happily ensconsed by my sewing machine as is the matching pincushion and a larger basket which is on the shelf and will catch my selvages as I cut them (it has replaced an old shoe box!).  Also two lovely fat quarters - awesome.....

Something to read was 3 cookery books... all of them holding lovely easy recipes - just my style

The present for under the tree is in the cupboard...

1.   I haven't put up a tree - I will get a branch don't worry! At the moment decorations are casually scattered on every surface... actually I really like the look so I might not get a branch....

2.  Out of sight out of mind

3. I do not resist temptation well so #2 is important

Dawnie made special tags which I think are just glorious.... I love them....

... just perfect.....  THANK YOU so much Dawnie....

I also got a plum pudding in the post...... from Michelle.... she assures me it is low sugar, low fat and calorie free..... gorgeous for my casually scattered ornament look I am creating here....

Thanks Michelle, it is a perfect addition to my hand made ornie collection....

DD who lives locally has been moving house... and is away at Christmas but she did want to get up a tree to have a festive look at home.....

I love what she has created here....

... so chic, so pretty, so space savvy....

Righto, Gotto Go..... must scatter some more ornies.....

I do agree - your daughter's idea for a tree is beautiful! It looks so lovely it could become a regular Christmas idea?
