... I do feel so lucky to have such a lovely group of friends (cyber and physical) who so generously share ideas and encouragement.... including you
.... Just sayin'......
... this week this little bag was finished - it was the kit I was given at the Girls Day Out a couple of weeks ago... designed by Rosalie Quinlan
There is some cross hatch handquilting on the bag and then the dresden plate and a crochet doily cut in half ....
I did each side with different colours
(since I didn't cut the fabric right and didn't have enough of the one colour!!!! both sides coordinate fine with jeans)
perfect for a few sewing things .... not big enough for a wine bottle but I reckon a couple of tins would go in ok....
I pieced together the three Christmas stars for a runner... I think it has turned out quite fun....
... and I even got the binding ready....
... a friend had a couple of flat sheets which matched well with her bedroom so she asked me to make a 'quilt' with them... like a big whole quilt and such fun with mostly large free form feathers
I've run out of thread so had to order it in... only a little more to finish... isn't that always the case?...
So... you can see... all good in my space...
Righto, Gotto Go..... I am going to play with my Boys Story pieces and make some blocks ....
... and that's what I will be doing at
.... anyone can join... sign ups are HERE... thanks Cheryl for having us... I'll bring the beer .....
Love the bag & the runner. Hugs, xx.
