FNWF.....

... so these little fat chooks were spotted in the garden this morning ...


they are a UFO from last year ... and didn't need much work.... I used bear stuffing beads so they sit nicely... and have funny googly eyes....

I did this block for the "Aiming for Accuracy" quiltalong last week... the new block is out now so I must get moving....


This months swap block is a Braced Star - I have made several attempts and have battled with this one....
between the measurements and templates things are just not meeting....



Righto, Gotto Go.... dinner is ready ........

    Cute chooks and your A4A block looks fantastic! I would have given up on the other one if it caused so many problems but it looks like it came together well.

    I have one of those chicken pincushions and I love it! I love bacon, too!
    Great-lookin' blocks...I'm sure you'll come out the winner in the battle with the Braced star.

    I always forget to cut long selvedges, and was going to toss all the little bits I have, but now I think a chookie pincushion or two might be the answer!

    Very friendly looking chooks you have there! And a great finish.
    Some blocks can be frustrating but it is worth sticking with it. They look great.
