My Once A Season Swap (OASS) arrived at my house this morning......
to say I was blown away is an understatement... I'm sure you will agree this is just sensational....
just couldn't be more perfect with the fat little birds, and the flowers, and the colours
............... and the most perfect even stitching .... oh my ..... and quilted so neatly around the edges ....
but.....
the hanging didn't come alone... all this was in the box too!!!
a lovely zippy purse made with Japanese fabric - a very cute ceramic butterfly, those pretty buttons, some chocolates (already hidden from Hubz), spring flower seeds and a cute pin tin.....
this is a close up of the pin tin .... too cute hey?
special instructions were added on how to open it.... luckily ...... I couldn't work it out
a close up of the stitchery ...... I love it Anthea .. thank you so much....
Hubz will be sorting out some dowling and a hanging spot in my sewing/computer room.... I love spring time and I can enjoy it all year.....
Anthea started blogging earlier this year and it has been so fun getting to know her and see her lovely work - I had no idea my gift was coming from her so a wonderful surprise
I love the swaps .... a piece of work from a friend coming to live at my house
This is the Spring Swap I received from Melody last year which has been taken out to decorate the table
My wisteria is proving that Spring is springing here in the garden .....
(this is the first year this vine has flowered over my front area... I'm very excited .....
