I started this next block for "From the Heart" on Thursday so continued with the needleturn on Friday night whilst watching Vera on TV ......
I am now this far, still a fair bit to do... a couple more nights and it should be done...
I carried on with pressing and trimming the HST's today and have 4 coordinated piles.... I will get 40 pinwheel blocks out of these - I will need to add some plain fabrics to makes something that is a more useful size.....
There is an odd feeling of accomplishment having a nice little pile of trimmings!!!
Righto, Gotto Go.... I'll keep going with that needleturn.... and pop over to other blogs and see what the other FNSI'ers did.....

Pretty fabrics in those HST's. I am also a "Vera" fan.
Well done on all that trimming.....always the most tedious part!
The needle turn looks very fiddly but a lovely result although I´m not quite sure how you watch the telly at the same time lol. xcx

The From the Heart block is lovely - the fabrics you are using suit it so well. Well done on the prep work for all the pinwheels - a nice pile of trimmings always makes me happy too!

A few HSTs at a time is all I can handle trimming! But it is fun to see the little scraps piling up :)
