Last night we sewed together for FNWF hosted by Cheryll...... it was a hot night here and I was happy to sit and sew some backstitch animals...
My little duck is done.....
I worked on catching up with the blocks for Wish You Well.... all the stitcheries and the applique circles had been done....
All the main blocks are together now..... I will be shopping for something suitable for a border
This weekend is retreat time.... I come home in the evenings but daytime is spent with friends sewing.....
I have taken my heavier sewing machine and doing some free motion quilting/raw edge applique on my animal silhouettes....
Wow your quilt is a stunner. Enjoy your retreat weekend :)

I so love the bits of lace on that piece! I'm glad you're able to stitch with friends at the retreat, too. How are you handling virus protection at the retreat? Lots of open windows? Sewing machines very widely spaced? I know you're being safe, just curious about the details :)
ReplyDeleteYour version of wish you well looks beautiful. It's been fun seeing all the different colourways and little tweaks that people make.
ReplyDeleteDid you sign up for next year? I have.
Wish you well is even more stunning when all the parts have been sewn together! I joined a QAL that starts in January that uses old linens......it reminded me of your Wish you Well.......
